These are the two premium Freestriders in the Nordictrack lineup.
We did a full written comparison of the Nordictrack FS10i vs FS14i here.
But if you want a more visual way to compare them, here’s a great video below showing you the key differences between them. This includes differences in console, resistance, incline, decline and more:
One thing the video doesn’t cover is the difference in armbar controls.
The Nordictrack FS14i Freestrider has controls on the moving arm bars that let you easily change your incline and resistance. So you don’t have to reach up to the console to change these things (and interupt your upper body workout).
The Nordictrack FS10i Freestride Trainer does not have controls on the moving arm bars.
It’s not a deal breaker – but it’s worth knowing if you’re going back and forth between these two models.
Is One Better Than Another?
They both give you the famous adaptable stride – up to 32 inches long! So everyone in your home can choose the most comfortable stride for them.
So from that perspective you get a more optimized workout with either machine.
It really comes down to whether you want to pay more to get a few more perks on the FS14i elliptical – like the larger console and decline.
If you don’t really care about these things then you might be fine with the FS10i elliptical – and you can save money as well.
